We’re a little ashamed to admit we’ve only played Numbers 2 and 6. Deus Ex (#2) hooked so many people on video gaming it isn’t funny, even if it is a first person shooter. In fact, it’s one of the few FPS games that requires more brains than ammunition. If you haven’t played it, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The Elder Scrolls is one of our favorite franchises and Oblivion (#6) stands out among the rest. Maybe that’s why Bethesda decided to jump 200 years into the future for Skyrim.

10 Best Written Video Games No matter the form of media, good writing can be admired like good cooking. A suspenseful intro hook thrown in to simmer with an intriguing storyline, seasoned by a logical plot, as well as a satisfying ending is as much akin to a meal as I can think of.
