The

Calendar of Events grows internationally

In Books, Film, Travel on 20 February, 2011 at 2:04 pm

We’re pleased to announced that we are, slowly, adding international events to the Preternatural Post Calendar of Events. We’ve added events in the UK, Australia and Canada to our roster of things to do this year.

One of the most notable international events is the London Film & Comic Con scheduled for July 8, 9 & 10,  2011. This event, now spanning 3 days, looks like it’s going to be great with special guests ranging from Mark Shepperd (Supernatural) to Christopher Lloyd (Addams Family) to Sean Maher (Firefly, Serenity) and many more.

If you can’t wait until July Australia’s leading Horror film festival, A Night of Horror, will be marking their 5th annual international film festival in Sydney, Australia March 31 – April 8, 2011.

And speaking of Canada, the $100 Film Festival in Calgary, Alberta is one of only four film festivals in the world dedicated to small format film. The films being screened at the Plaza Theatre on the evening of March 3, 4 & 5, 2011 are exclusively small-format film (Super8 or 16mm).

We’ve also started adding book fairs and literary festivals to our calendar. If you missed Charlaine Harris at Boskone 48 this weekend, you’ll want to mark your calendar for the Arkansas Literary Festival in Little Rock, AR,  April 7 – 13, 2011. More than 80 authors across a variety of genres will be participating in nearly a week of events throughout the community.

We are excited to alert everyone to the following real life gatherings in North America:

There is still plenty of room on the calendar, so please, if you don’t see your favorite event listed, submit it to us HERE. We are especially interested in hearing about international events. Help us build the BEST and MOST COMPLETE calendar of preternatural events online!

Weekends are filling up fast! Your calendar won’t know what hit it!
